Trainee (Web Development)

About the role

Birlasoft is hiring Trainees in Hyderabad to work on web‑based applications using Java/J2EE on the backend and modern JavaScript frameworks on the frontend. The position suits B.E/B.Tech graduates eager to gain full‑stack development experience, create design documents, code, and test software within a leading IT services firm.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy web‑based Java applications that meet business needs.
• Build interactive user interfaces using JavaScript and React, applying Redux or Flux where required.
• Implement responsive web pages with HTML5 and CSS3.
• Follow approved software development lifecycle processes, including documentation and testing.
• Prepare technical design documents and ensure solutions align with specifications.
• Leverage Java/J2EE knowledge to integrate frontend components with backend services.

Eligibility

• Graduates with a B.E or B.Tech degree.
• Open to freshers as well as candidates with limited professional experience.
• Strong foundation in web development concepts and Java programming.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an IT services environment.

Skills

• Proficient in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and asynchronous programming.
• Hands‑on experience with React, component architecture, hooks, and state management (Redux/Flux).
• Solid understanding of HTML5 and CSS3 for building responsive interfaces.
• Good knowledge of Java and J2EE for server‑side development.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle, coding standards, and unit testing.
• Ability to produce clear design and technical documentation.
