Senior Frontend Developer

About the role

Sequoia is looking for a senior frontend developer to craft AI‑native user experiences. You will design, build, test and optimise web interfaces that power intelligent assistants, search, recommendation and summarisation features.

Responsibilities

• Develop responsive front‑end applications using modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Create intuitive UI components for AI‑driven workflows such as copilots and intelligent search.
• Integrate front‑end code with large‑language‑model APIs, retrieval services and backend systems.
• Translate product requirements into detailed technical specifications, component architecture and API contracts.
• Own the frontend architecture of your modules, ensuring performance, reliability and maintainability at scale.

Eligibility

• Graduated with any recognised engineering or computer science degree.
• Proven experience building complex web applications, preferably in AI‑focused products.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a hybrid team environment.

Skills

• JavaScript, TypeScript, React (or similar library)
• HTML5, CSS3, responsive design
• API integration, REST/GraphQL
• Performance optimisation and testing
